Lolly Gasaway Faculty-Student Writing Award

Criteria Considered

The committee selecting the recipients of the Order of the Coif Lolly Gasaway Faculty-Student Writing Award considers the following criteria when selecting winning scholarship:

Submissions must be journal articles authored by at least one student and one faculty member of a member school.
Students must be in good standing at the time of publication as defined by the chapter.
Nominations for the 2024 award must be works published in 2023.
Works will be evaluated for scholarship of the highest quality including originality of research, depth of thought and analysis, professional writing, and substantial contribution to legal thought.
Nominations for the 2024 Gasaway Award must be submitted by July 31, 2024.
